Qualifications:
Master’s in Counseling (Deaf) required. Completion of teacher education program for deaf preferred.

Summary of Work and Responsibilities:
Work with teachers, students, and families in the Alaska State School for Deaf and Hard of Hearing

Knowledge and Skills Needed:

Fluent in ASL
Fluent in English
Good interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work well with school teams
Strong counseling skills
